30 Creative Ways to use Fruit Spreads!

Think Outside the Jar with These 30 Creative ways to use Fruit Spreads!

A common question we get asked “Why is Crofter’s called a ‘fruit spread’ and not a jam, jelly, or preserve?”. It’s a good reason, hear us out!

Did you know that Crofter’s Organic Fruit Spreads have 33% less sugar than jam, jelly, or preserves? To be labeled a jam, jelly, or preserve per FDA standards, products must contain an end sugar content of roughly 65%! No, we’re serious and agree that’s A LOT more sugar than you need! Crofter’s Organic has More Fruit, and Less Sugar which is why it’s called a ‘fruit spread’. Crofter’s is proud to be called a ‘fruit spread’ and offer people a healthier option with only 7g of sugar per serving without sacrificing on taste or adding in artificial sweeteners. Now that’s a win we can all get behind!

Low Sugar, Flavorful Fruity Taste

Since all Crofter’s products are organic and a low-sugar option, the shelf life of the product is naturally shorter (remember, sugar helps to preserve products! Hence the name “preserves”). Since we do not use chemical preservatives, we recommend that our spreads are used within 20 days of opening for optimal freshness and flavor. You may be thinking, “how am I going to use this jar of Crofter’s fruit spread before it spoils? I don’t eat that much toast”. Don’t worry, we got your back!

Did you know that fruit spread can be a great addition to your culinary arsenal in the kitchen and is actually a huge time saver?! It adds the perfect amount of flavor without tons of added sugar. Sauces, dips, marinades, and even savory dishes, the options are truly endless! Think outside the jar with these 30 creative ways to use fruit spread (More Fruit Spread Recipes).
