Easy Superfruit Porridge

Something is so comforting about our Superfruit Porridge, it just makes you feel good. The combination of granny smith apples, fresh ground cinnamon and our Crofter’s Organic Just Fruit Superfruit Fruit Spread really takes plain old porridge to a whole new level of flavor. There are a lot of different ways you can make and enjoy porridge but in the words of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, “This porridge is just right”! The tart flavor of Granny Smith apples perfectly pairs with the sweetness from our Superfruit Just Fruit spread. And best of all, it only takes 10-20 minutes from start to finish so you’ll have a delicious and nutritious breakfast in no time. You can even make this recipe gluten-free if you substitute the rolled oats for gluten-free rolled oats. You won’t even notice the difference.


  • 1 Cup Bob`s Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • 1-2 Tbsp Crofter’s Organic Just Fruit Superfruit Fruit Spread

  • 1 ½ Cup Milk or Nut-milk

  • 1 ½ Cup Water

  • Pinch of Salt

  • Sprinkle of Ground Cinnamon

  • Diced Granny Smith Apple


  1. In a large pot, combine the milk, water, salt and rolled oats. Bring to a light simmer then cover and let cook for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Remove oats from the pot and place in to a bowl.
  3. Top with a nice scoop of Crofter's Superfruit Spread (around 1-2 Tbsp.) along with your favorite toppings. We used ground cinnamon and fresh granny smith apples.
  4. Enjoy!
