Beat the heat with this tasty cocktail! Bursting with sweet strawberry flavor, Vodka and a splash of fizzy carbonation—a refreshing thirst quencher on a hot day. Often these types of cocktails are loaded with unwanted sugar but by adding our Strawberry Just Fruit Spread you eliminate that worry and get a natural, perfectly sweeten beverage. This is sure to be a hit at your next summer celebration, cheers!
Ingredients
1 Lemon (Freshly Squeezed)
Crushed Ice
1.5oz Vodka
1 Can Lemon or Lime Sparkling Water (or Club Soda)
Organic Strawberries (Sliced)
Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine Crofter’s Organic Just Fruit Strawberry Fruit Spread and the fresh squeezed lemon juice. Stir on low heat until the two combine and are mixed thoroughly.
- Grab your drinking glass, pour a small amount of the Crofter’s strawberry spread and lemon mixture into the bottom of the glass. Place in the fridge to let firm up and set for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from the fridge and top your glass with crushed ice. Pour the Vodka over the ice and top the rest of the way with sparkling water. Garnish with slices of organic strawberry. Enjoy!
