Take a walk on the wild side with this tangy summer cocktail! Honey, lemon and bourbon with a Crofter’s Apricot twist is our take on the classic whiskey sour. Shake it up, pour it over ice, and garnish with a fresh mint leaf for the perfect tasty cocktail that will keep you cheers’ing all summer long! We can raise our glass to that, cheers!
For the Crofter’s Apricot syrup:
½ Cup Raw Honey
1 Cup Water
For the Cocktail:
2oz Bourbon/Whiskey of Choice
4oz Crofter’s Apricot Syrup
2oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Mint Leaf (For Garnish)
- Start by first preparing the Crofter’s Apricot Syrup for the cocktail. In a medium sauce pot combine the water, honey and Crofter’s Organic Premium Apricot Fruit Spread and whisk until combined. Place the pot over low/medium heat until the syrup begins to lightly boil. Remove from heat.
- In a rocks glass, first add in ice cubes followed by 2oz bourbon, 4oz Crofter’s apricot syrup and then 2oz Fresh lemon juice. Give this a quick stir and garnish with a fresh mint leaf. Enjoy!
