Ingredients
2 Cups Rolled Oats
3 1/4 Cups Almond Milk
1 Very Ripe Banana (Mashed)
1-2 Tsp Fresh Ground Cinnamon
¼ Tsp Kosher Salt
1-2 Tsp Agave Sweetener (Optional)
Directions
- In a medium sized sauce pot, combine 3 cups of the almond milk, fresh ground cinnamon and kosher salt. Give this a quick stir with a whisk to combine ingredients. In a small bowl mash up your ripe banana with a fork and then add it into the milk. Whisk again until no clumps of banana are noticeable.
- Place over medium-high heat until the milk begins to simmer and lightly boil. Remove from heat and add in the rolled oats 1 cup at a time stirring in between making sure the oats don’t clump or cluster together. Reduce the heat to low and allow the oat mixture to slowly simmer for 5-10 minutes depending on how you like the consistency.
- While the porridge is simmering, in a small pan, combine the Crofter’s Just Fruit Superfruit Fruit Spread with ¼ almond milk and mix over low heat just for 1-2 minutes until the fruit spread and almond milk have combined.
- Test the porridge, if you would like it a little bit sweeter, add in a tsp or two of agave sweetener or sweetener of choice. Once porridge is ready, serve up into bowls and drizzle with a few tbsp of the Superfruit spread. Enjoy!
